I don't listen to this one much, once in a blue moon.Ġ7. This song features the boys, but it's rather uninteresting and dull. Futuro Ex-novia 2/5 - Upbeat, power-pop with some strange yet distracting synth-beats. Sometimes, it can be a bit repetitive.Ġ6. It has a sort of rhythm like Ace of Base meets Backstreet boys, but this one works out well. Ensename - 4/5 - Cute, bubbly, very teenager-ish. I'll give it a listen once in a while.Ġ5. Un Poco de tu Amor - 3/5 - Released as a single only in Mexico, this is not one of my favorites. The vocals here leave a lot to be desired, but the song is still enjoyable.Ġ4. Otra Dia que Va - 4/5 - A power-pop song sung mostly by Anahi and Dulce Maria. This is definately a fan favorite and one newcomers will enjoy.Ġ3. Rather slow, like the Backstreet Boys type of music. You might also say it's sort of the show's 2nd theme song. Solo Quedate en Silencio - 4/5 - A song frequently used in the TV show as well, sort of the romantic theme song for Mia/Miguel and Diego/Roberta. A bit slow like a ballad but picks up to a power-pop style while the group belts about how they are rebels.Ġ2. Rebelde - 4/5 - The theme song to the novela, also used within the show. The title itself is misleading - Although their character personas are rebelious, the music itself is harmless teen bubble-gum pop, much along the lines of OV7.Ġ1. Although it is short (only 11 tracks), it packs hit after hit and should please everyone, even if you have not seen the show. A lot of the music was used in the show and should not be unfamiliar to the fans. They were so popular among fans of the TV show that producer Pedro Damian gathered them into a real band outside the show, titling them "RBD" to distinguish them from the show. The group played the roles of wealthy students in a private school trying to start a band. RBD is a sextet that got its start in the Mexican novela titled "Rebelde (Rebels)".
